Department of English is one of the oldest Departments and exists since the very day of inception of the college, i.e. 7th August, 1972. The department has been trying to provide Quality Education to this semi-urban locality since the beginning. Major in English was introduced in the Academic Session 1989-90. Certificate Course in Communicative English was introduced in 2000-2001 session with the view to make the students equipped for meeting ‘Global Challenges’.
